TB&ME is a collaborative blogging project by patients being treated for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) in locations all around the world by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). They are writing about their experiences of living with MDR-TB and the treatment that they receive. This treatment can often involve taking upwards of 20 pills a day for 24 months and suffering many painful side effects from the toxic drugs. TB&ME has been launched because MDR-TB is a neglected disease. Very little money has been put into the research and development of diagnostics or new, improved treatment and people who are infected by the disease have no option but to take drugs which are painful and leave them feeling weak every day for a very long time. TB&ME gives MDR-TB patients an opportunity to tell the world about the issues which affect their lives, about how treatment and services could be improved and how it feels to have this disease. It also provides an opportunity for patients to tell the world that MDR-TB exists in their own words, that it is a global problem and to share their experiences with others who might be in the same position.

Harborview General isn't just a hospital-it's a battlefield. Dr. New Thitipoom Techaapaikhun has survived real war. Former army combat medic, now an Emergency Medicine and Critical Care resident, he doesn't fear blood, death, or chaos. What he fears-what he hates-is corruption in white coats. The system failed his little brother. It broke his trust. It broke his family. Now, he saves lives his way-ruthless, brilliant, unstoppable. Rules don't save people. He does. Then Dr. Tay Tawan Vihokratana walks in. Elegant. Calm. Too good to be real. A doctor who heals with his heart as much as his hands. Forced to restart his career after a messy divorce, Tay transfers from Dallas to Boston to outrun a scandal and a heartbreak that nearly destroyed him. He wants a quiet new beginning-but instead he finds New. They clash instantly-fire vs. water, instinct vs. logic. Tay follows rules. New breaks them. Tay believes in compassion. New believes in survival. They shouldn't work together. But medicine has other plans. In the ER, under flickering trauma bay lights, between beating hearts and code blues, they become something neither expected-partners. And maybe, something more dangerous: Hope. Trust. Love. But with hospital politics, dark secrets, jealous ex-lovers, and ghosts from New's past resurfacing, one truth becomes painfully clear- Saving others is easy. Saving yourself is the real fight. In a world where lives are measured in seconds, will they dare to save their own hearts? Copyright Notice: © 2025 [SunMoon2030]. All rights reserved. This work is fictional.
