Until Mapleshade came.
Mapleshade, her savior, her praise, her mother when she had no mother. She loved her, and cheered her on when Aquastar resented her and hated her. Mapleshade made her stronger, trained her, until she made her way up to deputyship, just as Mapleshade had promised. Then to leadership, when Mapleshade came to betray her. What will she do, will she listen to her sister, and forget the anger in her heart? Or will she follow her instincts?

Clay made a promise to Tsunami a long time ago that he would always be her best friend no matter what. But it is hard to keep a promise like that when Tsunami has been constantly sending dragons to be executed. As time goes on Tsunami becomes worse and worse, to the point to where Clay can no longer ignore it and pretend everything's fine. But how can he stop Tsunami and be her friend at the same time?
