Vienna Castanoza is too sceptical for her own good. She's an ender, not a beginner, in any sense of the word. She's the queen of happy endings, but everyone knows that starting is the hardest part, and she never stops thinking long enough to get anything done.

Brazen Williams considers his emotional baggage renounced. All his good intentions do is bite him in the arse, and he tells himself he's done waiting around for people. The longer you stick around, the more you get tied down - and ties are another thing that he doesn't do, bow or otherwise.

Vincent "Ink" Gallagher runs 'Vincentive', the renowned bookstore/backroom tattoo parlour. But Ink has had enough of his all-work-no-play lifestyle; he calls his employees together for an emergency meeting and suddenly, among all the raging hormones and hissy fits, they're thrown into something they could never have predicted.

But Zen and Vi couldn't avoid trouble even if they wanted to, and soon Ink's plan draws in less-than-pleasant people from the crew's pasts. They've vowed to pull this off. Will Vienna chicken out?
