Kacy is an ordinary sixteen year old teenage girl who has lived with just her mother since the age of three after a vigorous breakup and divorce between her parents. Kacy hasn't took it well with her mother bad mouthing her father all the time. She finally gets to meet her father after thirteen years in a rural area where he 's one of the only people occupying the small village. She meets a mysterious girl there who is convinced she was drowned and murdered in the nearby river by her father. Kacy must find out the truth about what happened and prove her father's innocence before everyone she loves is under threat from the wrath of the "Girl In The River"
