"What if I told you this years games would be a little different?"
It's the 101 annual Hunger Games but Head Game Maker Wisteria Wiles has something extra up her silk sleeve. Claiming that after the boring downfall of the 100th annual quarter quell, they needed someone a little bit more than meets the eye to spice things up.
So what's different about this round? Let's just say that killing each other is the least of your worries... The arena will bite back.

What If Rue Won The Hunger Games?
Have you ever thought about what would have happened if Rue won The Hunger Games instead? Hi, I'm Rue. I'm only 12 and I'm from district 11. This year, at the reaping... they. chose. me. They chose me to fight to the death in an arena with 23 other children, just as scared as I am. But I can win, I am a tribute. A hunter. A girl. But not a piece in their games. I want to prove that I AM worth something. So I say... stop the games. This question inspired me to write about what would've happened if Rue won. This is a fan-fiction story based on the novel "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. *Disclaimer: I do not own any rights to the characters, ideas, plot, dialogue, and whatsoever. Gale: A Hunger Games Story
"And Gale. I know him. He won't be shouting and cheering. But he'll be watching, every moment, every twist and turn, and willing me to come home." - Katniss Everdeen, The Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen is fighting for her life in the 74th Annual Hunger Games. We know her story. But have you ever wondered what it was like on the home front, in District 12? This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination. Please do not attempt to recreate it in any form. Additionally, if ideas in this work are similar to that of other writings, it is purely coincidental and I apologize deeply for any inconvenience. Please comment if you enjoy! Happy reading!!!Complete![Sell my Soul⇸Finnick Odair [1]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/105424479-256-k231114.jpg)
