Vampires were known by humans for almost 20 years now and they actually adapted the fact quite fast yet they were still having a hard time accepting them. Because they thought vampires were danger to human kind, they set some rules to at least have some control on the situation. Such as;
The vampires HAD TO graduate from the Vampire Academies where they've been taught the rules of living as a vampire and how to act in the society, of course along with general subjects like Math or History.
And even as a descendant of an ancient family Merida Kiah, herself had to obey these rules just like her kin and graduate.
But especially this year things were getting crazy since the government was trying out a new project by letting some HUMAN students attending chosen Vampire Academies.
"I wanna puke blood even when someone mentions the word 'Human'."

Her life couldn't be anymore perfect, especially with the disappearance of vampires for over fifty years (which hunters gladly help keep in place). However, her life is turned upside down when two old friends pop back into it. Them requesting her to assassinate the king of the vampires. Just when she thought she was free, Vick is thrown back onto the roller coaster of life. I would tense, yelling out in pain and gritting my teeth as he moved his hand around in my side before pulling it out, holding his small bloodied hand infront of my face. "This... is vampire blood. You are human in flesh alone and even that is questionable..." he would grasp onto my shoulders, looking directly into my eyes "you need to figure out what you are, only then will you be able to escape, then take back control. Only when you accept this will you be able to kill them all" he would say calmly.

A different type of species that was unwanted by the humans so they hid the hybrids away. There were many different types of hybrids. There were Neko, also known as cat people, or people with cat-like features, Werewolves, people with wolf-like features. Ghouls, or creatures of the night. There were also those stereotypical hybrids, such as vampires, zombie-like people, mermaid creatures-- the school's least favourite because of their background story-- and more. People didn't like these hybrids because they're different and that makes people fear them. "I'm not like them, you see, I accept everyone as they are, because, well.. I'm one of them! My name is Azura Night and I'm a neko! I have cat ears and retractable claws. On top of that, when I get angry, my eyes turn red!
