Alyssa Wellington moved to Seattle from the Big City in hopes of forgetting and starting out new. She knew that Sebastian just would not see her as anything more than his best friend. He had no plans to settle down marry and start a family which was what she wanted. The last thing she expected was to be selling a house to him, his new wife and daughter. Now she has no other choice than to wake up and realize that happily ever after never happened and to finally move on.
Sebastian knew that keeping secrets from his best friend would eventually cause her to leave. After hitting a bump on the road he realized that it was for the best. She deserved so much more than him and she was too good for a low life scum like him. He married his bump in hopes that with her he could finally get over his best friend who would never turned lover.
If there was one thing Raphael firmly believed in was love at first sight although in his case it would have to be love at almost first hit. Alyssa Wellington always caught his eye whether she was coming or going. After giving her a few rides around the city he finally worked up the courage to ask her out. She accepts only with the condition that they pretend to be happily engaged.
