Unconditional Love || A Phantom of the Opera Fanfiction ||
One event changed everything in Christine Daae's life. Erik Destlar fell in love with her and decided to take her to live with him. Will she ever love him back? Modern day, E/C... COMPLETED ___________________________________________________________ I do NOT claim the original work of Gaston Leroux "The Phantom of the Opera." I also do NOT condone things discussed, written, or otherwise made known through my work such as stalking, kidnapping, marrying kidnappers/stalkers, or the like. My only wish is to make Leroux's book accessible to modern readers with a few plot twists here and there. I can only hope I have done his acclaimed work justice with my retelling.Abgeschlossen

Her Innocence || Phantom of the Opera
"Christine, I love you." The phantom's voice played a sweet tune in my mind. It was the first time he had confessed his love, but sadly, I couldn't return the favor. He had given me everything, fame, fortune, and a life of excitement and curiosity. Still, he had threatened to hang my beloved Raoul and sentence me to an eternity locked away from the world. My clammy hands shook with emotion as I slid the beautiful, diamond ring off my finger. The disfigured man helplessly gazed into my eyes, transforming my soul. I was the only one to look past his hideous physical appearance, to know how to comfort a creature of darkness; I couldn't bare holding in my emotions any longer. Tears plunged down my pale cheeks and I looked down to take his hand. Making sure not to drop the small item, I closed his rough fingers around the ring. "Goodbye," all sadness echoing through my word. I spun around and dragged my wedding dress through the foggy water to meet Raoul's awaiting boat. *** UPDATE 2020: Hello, all! I realized that this book recently gained traction in the fanfic world of Wattpad, again. Unfortunately, I wrote this back in 2014 and have yet to go through and edit. At one point, I planned on making a sequel to this. I don't expect to do so any time soon, but I appreciate the reads and the comments!Abgeschlossen
The Phantom's Admirer
“Why doesn’t she just love me back? I’ve given her everything!” Erik was almost in tears in front of me. I bent down next to him and wiped away a stray tear. He looked up into my eyes. “Nobody can choose who they love. Love is a gift, but it is also a curse. It either makes you, or breaks you.” He then brushed back a piece of my hair from my face and gave me a confused look. “How do you know this, Alice?” I looked down and took a breath. “Because it broke me.” Alice has been in love with the Phantom of the Opera since she read the book in her freshman year of high school. When her graduating class of high school goes to Paris, she can’t help but go along. One night, she sneaks out to find the man she loves she realizes she needs to go back in time to find him. When she arrives, she sees that the only way to win over his heart, is to make him fall for her, instead of Christine. So, with her trusty copy of the Phantom of the Opera, will she be able to make him love her too? I do not own the Phantom or any other character from the Phantom of the Opera. I only own Alice and her new adventures.Abgeschlossen
