(This is a Dystopian story)
Red is on the run from the Republic and the government, after being labeled as the #1 wanted criminal in the Republic. Red grew up in the Lake Sector, one of the poorest sectors. And one of the sectors that have been quarantined by the plague. When Red wanders into bar and gets into a skiz fight, she gets stabbed. Thats when the Allegiant take her in.
"The government is planning something big, and its worse than the plagues."
"Do you know what it is?"
"No, but all of us are gonna find out."
"How are we gonna do that?"
"You'll see."

Kit had died young, that much is a tragedy in itself. They had a bright future ahead of them. They were going to graduate high school. They were going to go and get a degree in biology. They were going to help preserve as much of the wildlife left on Earth. They had their whole life planned.
