(I don't think that I can write a good enough description for this story, but it is about a young girl named Sayuri who is just about to enter her first year of high school. Her parents are suddenly murdered, and she learns of a family secret that changes her life. I wrote this about four or so years ago, and now that I've looked at it again, I wonder, why did I put in Japanese phrases here and then when they're speaking English everywhere else? Idk lol. I guess that I was trying to get a point across, but you don't really need Japanese words for the reader to figure out that they're Japanese. Oh well, what's done is done. I really liked the story from the beginning, but after a while, I started to feel as if I had gone off track or as if the story wasn't as good anymore, so I stopped writing it. Just recently, though, I decided to post it here on Wattpad because why not? If I think that it's a good story, then I should share it, yeah? lol. Well, enjoy the story. It is only one long chapter. )

Skye was just an ordinary human. One with an unfortunate life. Her mother was killed in an armed robbery when she was barely a year old. Her father turned to alcohol and smoking to hide his pain. As the years went he began to abuse her and was eventually murdered as well by a burgler. She was sent to Wammy's House. As the only girl there, it was hard for her but she made a few friends and was very close with another boy. She stood out easily because of her white hair and small figure but it was mostly her eyes. She wasn't born with her white hair, it turned white from the torture and stress her father put her through. Her eyes were different. She was born with large, blood red eyes. Of course no one knew that she hadn't been born with white hair, not even the boy she was basically dating, except a boy little older than her named Lawliet. He was like a brother to her. Lawliet was given a caretaker named Watari and Skye, one named Yamato. She lived her life as normal as she could and climbed the ranks as a detective; even surpassing L, though she didn't know who he actually was. As it's well knows, shinigami liked to gamble to entertain themselves. The king himself gambled his own life and power on her and a few years before she went into Wammy's. The king bet his that she wouldn't risk her life to save a stranger and used his death note to put her in a situation that she could save a child's life by risking her own or continue walking and not give them a second glance. She saved the child and gained his death note, the shinigami eyes, healing and self-healing, the power to bring back to dead, and knowing whenever someone has been killed using a death note. She had not to try draw attention to herself, since others couldn't see the shinigami she talked to. As the shinigami queen it was hard to be normal. She traveled for cases and decided to dye her hair inky purple when she was in America. She returned to Japan to go to school and observe the Kira case.Completa

High school is when it happened. Criminals start to die, and I start to be more careful of what I'm doing. But we all knew about the one who kills them all... Kira.... I don't believe the fact that he's a god like everyone says... What's more weird, other than Kira, is the fact that the top student in school, Light Yagami, wants to befriend me. College life is the next step in my life. After college I want to join the police force, work under cases and such. Kira is still going around, killing people, now starting to kill innocent people. Then, the person who I'm forced to sit with talks to me again... Light.. But I know that knowing Light... Makes me feel uneasy. Especially ever since I passed notes with him in high school. Ever since then, I saw something by his side at all times, a shinigami... Shinigami.. Gods of death... Then there's a notebook I noticed that Light had.. Death note... I think Light is Kira.. But then I meet L, a member of the group who's working on the Kira case, the best detective in Japan, the one person who hides his identity.... Can I tell him..? Can I trust him...? He seems to trust me enough to tell me that he's L. But there are a few things stuck in my head... Why did he offer me to help him? Why does he want me to help at all? Why does he want me by his side? Why does he want me to choose a letter as a name? Especially for broadcasting? L.... You care about me... Don't you? Or... Are you just trying to make me feel welcome..? This was originally going to have a character but then I decided to make it and L x Reader story. To soon go into action after discovering a gang fight was about to go down, where innocents could get hurt. But little to your knowledge, there was already a hero group in the city. There, she slowly beginning to discover herself and her true feelings, whilst dealing with the aftermath and the stresses and hardships of being an icon. so in other words I'm terrible at writing story descriptions tips from an INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL on how to market a wattpad story: add no cover. list the genre as "random". make the title as unappealing as possible. make a boring first chapter and then proceed to not add any other chapters. bam. im a genius. no but seriously this is a fanfic about airi sakura that attempts to explore her life after she got expelled from classroom of the elite. personally, i don't really like how her character developed (spoiler alert: this is a joke. it did not develop. for like 15 volumes and then kinugasa just gave up on her and her waifu potential and kicked sakura out of the class and then gave us a photo of her being an extrovert as compensation. which... makes perfect sense in the plot and perfectly justifies abandoning a character with potential and leaving her with a half-butted arc. let us not question the good character writing and excellent judgement of our god, savior, and personal mental masseur, kinugasa.) :( this is my introverted take on sakura. she's gonna go on her personal character arc that kinda continues from the events of classroom of the elite. it will all connect back in some way. yamauchi will most definitely come back in this series. it's probably gonna be bad and edgy but whatever. it's a thing. it's in serialization now. enjoy it. savor it. or don't. fine by me. no yamauchi and sakura are not going to fall in love that is a terrible option. screw you you weeb degenerate edit: i added a cover. 50 million views are about to fall in my lap. ez
