Young Michael has just moved from Sydney to Brisbane, and is finding it hard to keep up with life, until he sends a letter to an old friend. Luke, shy and sweet, finds a letter in his mail slot addressed to somebody else. Deciding to read it, he finds the sender to be a person of great needs. Month after month, letter after letter. Michael feels he must run away, to be rid of Brisbane, to run to the boy who he has been writing to. But, it becomes a race before time, and blood will be shed.
