Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

"Come on nearly you can do this, we can do this, together." Doing the unforgivable is hard to do sometimes, but other times it's for a good reason. The cost never matters when you know that your doing it for someone or something that you love and would died for. Fighting for what was right was always hard for those who were born and raised in the shadows, but they learn. They have to find that one something or someone that they are willingly going to die for, fight for. If you have someone you love to the edge of the world and would do this for them, make sure you give them your all. I've learned that from my one and only and this is something you can't read in any book you either have to find this out for yourself or through experience.

I wasn't going to trust some random dying person I met on the streets. "If you gonna be a good leader...you don't want this to happen to your group..." The man said. "I'm not a leader..." I said to him. "You don't see yourself as one...but it sure does sound like your people do." The man said to me. "I'm sorry but---" I started to say but the man just started talking again. "You're not dealing with any old trigger happy man...that's for sure." The man said chuckling. "You're dealing with the man that rapes his sister, sliced a man's ear off, and hangs children over a crowd a risers." The man said. Trust and bonds are starting to form between the characters. They all thought they had this new world figured out, but they were all far from that. Friendships are formed and some grow stronger, and some are simply ruined. The group finds themselves second guessing who they can trust after the death of Julia. What will happen when the group finds Jackson? What will they do to him?

They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world??
