I ran. That's what I did.
Ran.
Just looking into his eyes and waiting for me to say 'I Do' when I really didn't. The tension that rose in the air as the whole of the church burned their eyes into my skull. The lump that formed in my throat as I decided whether it was a good idea or not.
And boy was it.
That sprint decided my entire future and it was the most important sprint I had every ran.
That one sprint lead me to safe ground and that one sprint left me Finally Breathing.
