In the world of Therial, mages and technology are awesome, or atleast it looks like it does. Kace "Ace" Becker is a 16 year old foster kid with no magic. For people that don't have magic, they were as "Laireht" and were often abuse by thieves and gang member. This make trouble go like "Oh there you are fucker!" Life wasn't easy and it seem like Kace was doomed to walk in Therial to only died by punks. Then "they" came along. The Core. He was offer a chance to train in magic and fighting along side them against forces unknown. As he learn more magic the more he begins to have some relative's memories. He wanted adventure, and it's coming to bite his ass!
Jenifer Maroon is a 15 year old train mage who is distance to poeple because what happen so 10 years ago. She was doing well staying away from others (aside the fact that she's in a team) until Kace came along. He reminded her of person that she so desperately love so many years ago but only hurt him in the end. Now she's reminded of the feeling that she fear for so long.
Something is coming... something that hasn't been seen since the Great 10 War. A group called "The Black Mage" and it's army has risen once again and is here to destroy Therial. Kace, Jenifer, and the rest of the Core have to fight against these threats. And top of it all..... drama. Lots of drama.
