Mae, Lexi and their friends are typical teenagers, last year of school, coping with exams, those stupid dick heads and orange sluts from the year who put out for anyone. Pretty bog-standard teenage issues.
But then Lexi suddenly drops a bomb shell; she's pregnant.
Suddenly, all that other stuff is completely irrelevant, Lexi needs Mae, and so does her unborn baby.
Both Mae and Lexi have a lot of growing up to do in very little time.
