"Automatic writing or psychography is an alleged psychic ability allowing a person to produce written words without consciously writing. The words are claimed to arise from a subconscious, spiritual or supernatural source."( Wikipedia)
Have you ever use your Phone to write a message - email or text? You may have noticed the phone tries to guess the next word you wish to write, saving you the time to type on that oh so tiny keyboard. To do this on the phone manufacturers had to read huge amounts of text, people's messages tweets works of literature.
So many in ways the phone's guesses are the fingerprint of everything we write. All literature all chit-chat is all here, packed up into three tiny choices. I wondered what would happen if I let the phone write the message? What would it tell me? A kind of synthesis of everything we say. What would that be like ? Like running through the corn field of language, this is a diary of the events.
I gave myself two limits. I would choose from the three words presented. I would avoid picking words that made no sense. Beyond that the phone is in the driving seat. I am Siri's copilot. So you can think of this book as being the English speaking world's finger prints.
So welcome to my experiment. #RandomActsOfSenselessWriting
