Time, isolation and perpetual debunking by those who continue to hunt us have managed to whittle our existence into a figment of imagination, a part of your local folklore---stories so gnarled and distorted. No more than legends to scare your offspring into obedience or courageous attempts to explain the arcane. Shame, the place we take in the society today. We are now tales plummeting into obsolescence.

In the modern-day Philippines, the ancient and mystical world of the gods quietly interweaves with human existence. Tala, the radiant Goddess of the Stars, has long guided humanity with her celestial light, though her presence has waned as the world becomes more consumed by technology and forgets the magic of the night sky. Lucas, a young astronomer shattered by a personal tragedy, abandons his passion for the stars and becomes a recluse. His life takes an extraordinary turn when he witnesses a brilliant star falling from the sky, leading him to a divine encounter with Tala. Weakened by the diminishing belief in her, Tala seeks Lucas's help to rekindle the light of the stars and restore balance to the celestial realm. Their journey takes them across the Philippines, spreading tales of celestial wonders and reigniting humanity's awe for the stars. However, their growing bond and mission awaken Bakunawa, a fearsome sea serpent who desires to plunge the world into darkness by consuming the stars. With the aid of Amihan, the Goddess of the Wind, and Haliya, the Goddess of the Moon, Tala and Lucas face trials that test their resolve and faith. As the disturbances in the natural order escalate, Tala and Lucas must confront Bakunawa in an epic battle. With the fate of the stars hanging in the balance, Tala makes a heart-wrenching sacrifice, risking her celestial essence and their burgeoning love to protect humanity. "The Light of Tala" is a tale of love, sacrifice, and the enduring power of belief. It weaves together ancient mythology and modern struggles, reminding us that even in the darkest times, the stars will always guide us home.

It is 2030 in an alternate Earth. The majority of mankind remains ignorant to anything beyond the surface. However, monsters and magic have always existed throughout history. The powerful manage to create a fragile peace between humanity and nonhumans through enforcement by governments, corporations, or other organizations that understand the importance of keeping the world's greatest secrets from malicious hands. AGON, the Administrative Global Occult Network, is one such group that sends agents to keep the peace worldwide and defend against those that would enact conspiracies or commit crimes of the supernatural. We follow an unlikely heroine, Fei, who walks among the living as a jiangshi-an undead ectoform. Despite her nature, she does her best to complete her mission alongside her mentor, Finn MacCool, a hero of Irish legend. The current arc takes place in the Philippines, where we see Fei and Finn team up with Riz, a tikbalang (werehorse) vigilante from Cebu. Follow them from the beginning of their quest to stop a vast conspiracy, waged by an infamous syndicate run by monsters known as the aswang. However, the experienced heroes could be more out of their depth than they realize.
