Lucas and Felicia have been best friends since second grade, and now it's the summer before seventh grade and everything's has changed. All the guys have somehow written an unspoken law that boys and girls can't be "just" friends. Now that star athlete Lucas has a crush on Maya and Felicia,(much to Felicia's annoyance), and that Felecia's mom wants to uproot her and put her into some prodigy school everything is falling to pieces. The treehouse, their friendship, and everything Felicia ever told Lucas, secrets. They make a deal to stay friends until the end of summer, then it goes down.
