Running through a maze of boys, bad decisions, highschool, Jacob, bullying, and popularity, Star's year of tenth grade might be harder than she thought. When shes stuck between two boys; Jacob(her dream) and Jackson(who has liked her since second grade), she must make a choice; be with her true friends and be herself, or have the chance to be with the Jacob, and have all of the popularity she needs. In the book Star finds what's valued more, popularity or friends.

She fell from the sky and he found her. Saved her. (He didn't know what to do with her after that, but that's beside the point.) Jacob cared for none more than his brother, but he couldn't just leave her. She was confused and lost. So he let her stay, he nurtered her, but despite all that fate had it's way.
