Erasing the false Hope

What would you do if you woke up in a hospital and had no idea what was going on. Then later finds out that you have Thyroid cancer. Would you give your last bit of hpe to your mom, that you dearly love, or other kids tha have the same cancer as you. The cancer has no cure and Amber-Leigh wants to find one. She is letting the doctors experiment on her for possible solutions, but will they find one or will she loose all hope before they can tell weather she is going to make it or not....
