Veronica is a Malfoy. But she despises her name, and even more, her death eater family. Veronica's fifth year at Hogwarts starts off like any other. Her friends, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Dean Thomas, Hermione Granger, Ronald Weasley, and Harry Potter continue to try and bring down Voldemort. But something that happened last summer that is haunting Veronica. When she finds out that Voldemort will be coming to the Malfoy Manor over christmas break, Veronica and her friends realize that its a perfect oppurtunity to gain information about you-know-who. But Veronica is also trying to manage her feelings for Dean Thomas, her best friend Ginny's boyfriend. When the two suddenly break up though, It seems like it was meant to be. Veronica's fifth year turns out to be more dangerous than ever, coming into close contact with the Dark Lord and being in love with a Gryffindor.
