Sina, a dark haired, green eyed and freckled girl, is an earth bender in republic city who has lived her whole life under the rule of Dictator Zhang. Unlike any other bender, she won’t accept hiding her talent, and is secretly practicing her bending skills. However, there is not much one bender can do to change the world alone.

And Sina believes she is alone, until the night she discovers the moon raiders. A secret society of rebellious benders, who all strive for the goal: change.

Her meeting with the moon raiders also leads to a shocking discovery about herself as she finds out that she is the new avatar.
