Jenna McDougall was an introverted individual that spent her days closed away in her cage of a room. Tied down by her abusive parents and terrifying thoughts, she didn't get to experience normal 'teenager' things.

Taylor Jardine, however, was quite the opposite. Outgoing, confident and extremely stubborn. She was an orphan: left on the doorstep of her now foster mother, who due to Taylor's behaviour, kept her distance. Taylor was a free bird, exploring everything she could; no connections, no ties, no hurt.

  Until the two girls collide.

With Jenna's suicidal thoughts clouding over her, impacting her grades and crushing her social life, she finds herself alone and isolated, picking at her lunch behind the school building. She begins to scribble out the draft for her suicide note, not expecting to be intruded, least of all by Miss Taylor Jardine.

Six months. That's all Taylor had to prove to Jenna that there was a world out there, and that there was a reason to really live.

Could Taylor give Jenna a reason? Could Jenna give Taylor a chance?
