Death needed to kill the girl, whose name he learnt was Tomata. She had excelled her death date; she was defying Death without even knowing it, which infuriated Death even more. Death had a month for the girl to be dead otherwise he would be stripped from his title and status by the Devil himself. Death had to find a way of killing the girl whilst being discreet and not revealing his form! Deciding to listen to a suggestion from his deformed goblin, Death decided to visit Earth and 'sort out the problem'. He disguised himself as an handsome 19 year old and tried to lure Tomata to her death. However, not everything goes to plan as cold, twisted Death starts to develop certain traits of humanity.
