They came with a blue light

If everything just stayed the same.
If I hadn't changed to please the desires of others.
The ones in power to dictate the new world order.
If I never went to that party.
If I'd never ran away.
If I didn't stop to talk with him it would've all been alright.
No one would've had to die.

But they did.
And there's no turning back now.

Those who came with a blue light illuminating the heavens above that loud field.
Those who took me.
Who hurt me and my friends.
Hurled into the stars far from home.
To return to a new world
