Ty, a young man riding the rails is swept up in the events of the Great Depression. He has seen many hardships, like most of that era, and has survived them. But he is about to encounter something even more disturbing when he arrives in Calgary. McConnell house is almost as old as the young city, but with a much darker past. Will Ty be able to survive such a place, when he has gone through so many ordeals? Or will he descend into madness as so many before him?

This story is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, organizations, places, events, and incidents either are the product of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously.

In a world where emotion is outlawed, expression is criminal, and the mind is the most feared weapon of all, one girl refuses to go silent. Ruelle has always been told she feels too much. Too deeply. Too loudly. In a future shaped by the ashes of war and the cold logic of artificial peace, the government has eradicated chaos the only way it knew how-by diagnosing it. Passion is now a pathology. Art is evidence. Expression is a confession. And those who resist are sent to ERA: the Emotional Rehabilitation Asylum, where thoughts are monitored, and minds are broken into compliance. Ruelle has survived here longer than most-not because she's strong, but because she's quiet. She knows the rules. She knows not to cry, not to dream, not to speak unless spoken to. She knows silence is safety. But silence can't hold back what's rising inside her: the memories they tried to erase, the truths they tried to rewrite, and the betrayal that got her locked away in the first place. Her mind has become her last sanctuary-and her last battlefield. Ruelle begins to see that madness might be the last form of freedom-and love, the most dangerous expression of all. In a regime where peace means control and sanity means submission, one thought can start a war. And Ruelle is done thinking quietly. ________________________________________ Perfect for fans of Delirium, Shatter Me, and 1984, Sanity's Crime is a haunting, poetic, and sharp-edged exploration of a girl who dares to feel in a world that punishes feeling. With mind-twisting dystopia, slow-burn rebellion, and prose that cuts like glass, this is not just a story about surviving the system-it's about destroying it from within.

Blair's once ordinary life is shattered after she is convicted for the murder of her best friend and imprisoned in Draywell's Institute for the Criminally Insane. As she becomes plagued with nightmares that blur the line between reality and dreams, Blair sets out to recapture her freedom. In a desperate effort to prove her innocence, she enlists the help of an unlikely ally. Apollyn, tormented by his dark past, has long been a mystery to the asylum. As demons he thought he had left behind close in, using Blair as a pawn in their game, Apollyn reluctantly reveals his secrets. Caught between two worlds, both Blair and Apollyn must confront their deepest fears to set each other free. Dark, twisted, and compelling, this story explores the fine line between sanity and madness, trust and betrayal, and darkness and light. Crazyhouse is the first installment of a trilogy series including the titles Crazyhouse, Blitz, and Armageddon. Reviews: "Few books manage to balance supernatural horror with deep, psychological storytelling quite like Crazyhouse. At its core, this is a novel about morality-how we define it, how we justify our own darkness, and whether redemption is truly possible. The worldbuilding is immersive, steeped in eerie, flickering lights and the ominous weight of demonic power. Apollyn is a protagonist as compelling as he is tragic, his battle for control echoing throughout every interaction and decision. Crazyhouse is a masterful blend of gothic horror, existential dread, and supernatural suspense." "If you like morally gray characters, intricate plots, and stories that linger with you long after the last page, this book is for you. A gripping, darkly beautiful read."
