Melissa is a straight A girl and does nothing wrong. She spends her Friday nights and her weekends studying, while her best friend Hana tries to get her to go to parties and go shopping even though she is also a straight A girl who also wants to get into a great college as much as Melissa does. But when Melissa's science teacher Mrs. Walker sets Melissa and the schools bad boy Jake to be partners for a science project, Jake shows Melissa a little bit of the wild side and Melissa discovers that going to party's isn't all that bad. Will she change and be a straight A student who goes to party's on the weekends and has fun? Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
