Teresa's POV: I saw the roof falling. Thomas was under it. I love him. Love. Even if I risked my life to save his, it was worth it. Many people love him. More than I'll ever have. I pushed Thomas out of the way, and the roof broke. I felt someone tug on me and we fell. I saw Thomas. I loved him, and maybe he loved me back.

So, I watched The Maze Runner: The Death Cure last week - and I am so not okay with that ending! Newt should have survived! So I've taken matters into my own hands and re-wrote the ending. With Newtmas being eventually canon of course! or Where everything's the same except that Brenda, Minho and Gally arrive a minute earlier to save Newt's life and even make it out of the city with the perfect cure made from Thomas' blood. Newt has always been scared of falling in love. In Fact he was anti love his whole life. He had a hard time saying 'I love you' to anyone. Even his own family- and he had no idea why. Maybe it was the lack of love shown in his family? Who knows. That was until he fell in love. He fell in love with a boy. He fell in love with someone he had just met. And my god, Newt was petrified by the whole idea. Back in South London he lived with his mother, father, and younger sister Sonya. Ofcourse, That was until his parents got a divorce. Newt and Sonya were sick of living in London, so they moved in with their Grandparents who lived in a small town in Colorado. It was their cheapest option overall. Over the summer Newt decided to get a job at a Café and one day a boy named Thomas comes in with his group of friends and becomes regulars- and becomes friends over the last month of the summer. Since it's a small town, they end up going to the same school. And that, Newt's regular customer Thomas was the one he fell in love with.
What if?
What if... Teresa never went with Thomas when she died, but instead, got the serum and went to try to save Newt without anyone knowing. Everyone would be gone to the Safe Heaven thinking Newt and Teresa are dead. But 1 month later, Newt woke up, healthy again and cured. Newt and Teresa then make a team to try and get back to the Safe Heaven where is everyone. This is an alternative end for The Maze Runner : The Death Cure (because I'm clearly still not over Newt's death and I'm so mad that they killed him, so yeah...)
