There are truly horrible things out there. EVEN children came become this way! It's amazing how cold and dark some people can be. But what will become of of 3 children who are targeted by a monstrosity worthy of the name "Abomination". These 3 children went from innocent, kind, ignorant, and drop-dead adorable, to evil, mean, omnipotent, yet hideous beings.
This specific monstrosity has targeted them for one reason. You know how in those comic books super heroes often call villains cowards? Well it's normally for a cowardly action. Isn't it cowardly to target an easy target? Well, this certain monstrosity has done just that...

My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

So after she's rejected, instead of consoling her; they criticize her even more. She never really had friends to begin with; and now that the news of being rejected from the modeling school spread, no one would even look at her in a friendly way. She was mocked. She was bullied. ~ No One Is Just A Hero Or Just A Villain ~ Target's name was pretty ironic. Either she was the one targeting someone, or she was the one being targeted. Which was always the case, growing up with villains. Meaning she was supposed to be an expert at all things criminal, right? That is, until she and her team mates get fired from their jobs. Still, that doesn't mean their lives get any easier. They get captured by their former enemies, who don't understand they've been fired. Long ago a group of superheroes and villains worked together to prevent an invasion. But they managed to kill more people than they saved. Their destruction caused the perception of those with powers to dramatically shift; to the point of outcast. 50 years later crime has increased to the point where not even the police respond to calls. Few heroes went into hiding to 'play normal'; like my family and I. I live in New Haven City. I've been lucky enough that I don't have powers that attract too much attention --- Everything was going great. Everything was normal. Until Jamie was forced to confront the reality of her situation. The mayor who has been running the NSA was beginning to take drastic measures. Sending many supers off to another island. Stealing their powers. Forcing others to betray their own kind. The victims of these horrific acts are not taking that lightly. Why not make a team of heroes? A team that doesnt give a shit what the NSA or the Mayor has to say. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise.
