All attention is turned to the little television at the corner of the bar. A exhausted looking female appears on the screen. She's reporting from a destroyed street, that's seemingly unoccupied.
"Reports from all over the West Coast on the infected has the United States in a state of panic. Hundreds reported dead, and more than a thousand are left infected with this virus. The virus started as a contained sickness in Sacramento, California when it escaped the hospital, spreading out through most of the West Coast . "
Many gasps occur across the room. Elsy has a terrified look on her face, and most of the color has drained from her body.
"Here is Dr.Horton with more information on the infected." She hands the microphone over to the middle aged man. "The virus Solanum first hit in Sacramento and quickly spread within 24 hours. The infected are extremely violent, and reports state they attempt to bite, or even consume people. The infection travels through the bite or scratch of an infected, so if you've been bitten you are required to go to the closest hospital. Do not approach the infected, as they will attempt to bite you. If you are un-infected, lock your doors, board your window and stay quiet. Do not let any infected into your homes, even if they are loved ones. Stay safe America." The doctor finishes as a horde of the infected closes in behind them. They look pale with glazed over eyes, splattered with blood, and appear to be incoherent.
Everyone in the bar starts creaming for them to turn around, but they cant hear and the horde gets to them before the know it. A zombie rips a part of the woman's neck out as she wails in pain trying to escape. The camera was knocked over and on its side and the audience can clearly see the doctor on the asphalt being torn apart, and the woman no luckier. They're both being eaten alive. It's not long before you can no longer see through the horde of the Infected, and no one can see the doctor and woman.
