Bruno Wyvern, born in the deepest and coldest part of the planet. his mother had been captured and killed, her fur being very valuable in that society. He was sold off to a laboratory to be tested on, given that his species was the most rare of the canine family. He grew up in the harshest, most brutal of living conditions anyone or anything could ever live in. He was tested and experimented for days on end without breaks or recovery sessions. He was tourtured as he grew older and more defensive, he would rebel against the scientists that kept him there. Needle after Needle, maze after endless maze, he eventually grew numb to it all. they would forget to feed him for weeks, he would be forced to resort to eating the others that were there, the weakest ones... the ones that were "scrapped" as the scientists called it. this mortified him. though he knew he never had a choice. One day the laboratory had burned down and he managed to escape, finding refuge in an abandoned lodge deep in the heart of the forest. but the memories haunt him, reminding him of what happened there, what he did to manage to stay alive... what they did to him... he would never forgive them, he would never trust again...

A thousand years after the fall of the human race, Earth has recovered and is bursting with more wonders than ever before. The seven great continents have once again merged together creating one land, one colossal continent. Great beasts have taken hold of the Earth in the forms of Dragons, Wyverns and Wolves along with many others. homonyms struggle to survive both each other and the horrors left behind by their parent species. War now threatens the existance of both shifter and Homonym as the known world falls into chaos. Will these new homonyms learn what caused their ancient ancestors' extinction? Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages.
