So, this summer, I attended a (super fun) writing workshop for about a week, and we had a lot of writing exercises we were assigned. We had to read one at the end of the week for an audience (an idea I was not too fond of), and this is the one I read. I figured I might as well post it, so...I hope you like it! I finally got to work on my story-idea when I realised I could write while on the train to uni and back home :) So, this is it! It's situated in the 19th century mostly, but it isn't really mentioned in the story itself. I'll probably add my own drawings as a cover (Done!) Feel free to comment your feedback! I want to improve, but that's only possible when I hear about the flaws from you guys. Hey! So, this is a little fanfiction that I have written myself. It's basically about Poppy having some anxiety issues and Branch and her friends trying to help her thru them. Keep in mind that anxiety and panic attacks can be rather hard to explain, so I will try my best. My explanations may also be a bit poetic. Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." (All credit goes to my sister, who wrote this when she was in the twelfth grade)

I wrote this in 9th grade it's mortifying. I stole some ideas from otherfanfictions. That being said it is actually a really good fanfiction but the pieces don't really connect. Some backstory is that the readers character is a girl named Evanora Crypton. She is Sirius Black's daughter but never told anyone. She is played by Kristen Stewart or whoever you want to imagine. She grew up in an orphanage and has no parents like Harry bc her mom died and whatever. Eventually she told everyone she was Black's daughter and ended up in the news a couple times. I was a dumb ninth grader and sometimes spelled Hermione "HermOine?" 🤣 HMU if ur confused I'll explain if you tell me what you're confused about (as if anyone is gonna read this...)
