Seventeen year old Lia Greene has always been a soft spoken girl, content with her quiet Minnesotan life, living in a cabin with a forest to the left and a lake to the right.  She was always comfortable with a black and white life, calm and lovely. Until she met Daniel, who set her world on fire. Daniel was funny and brave and sweet, and Lia fell heads over heels.

But Daniel has a secret. A dark side that he doesn't want to reveal to Lia, too scared to ruin her.
