The year is 845, humanity has been at peace for 100 years after the sudden appearance of Titans. Humanoid creatures with no intelligence that devour humans for pleasure rather than as a food source. Typically several stories tall, the Titans drove humanity to the brink of extinction. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves within cities protected by three walls. Maria, Rose and Sina. These walls were even taller than the biggest Titans. But the sudden appearance of the Colossal Titan plunges humanity back into a battle with the Titans.
