After Life Serial, Spike is discouraged at Buffy's ignorance to his feelings and he plans on spending the night alone, drinking in his crypt. Until an unexpected visitor barges in. Being given some perspective on his future with Buffy, he decides to change the game and take a vacation to Africa... I began this story with the intention of a Spike and Faith one-shot, but I decided on a Spuffy centric path instead. Hope you like it! :) All characters and some quotes belong to Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy, although the story is mine. No copyright infringement intended.

A Spuffy fanfiction written by two devoted fans with a curious imagination. The story is set after the events of "Chosen", Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Seven, and after "The Girl in Question", Angel Season Five, and goes off-canon from there. Angel Investigations and the Scooby Gang are brought together to fight against the forces of evil once again, this time a little closer to home. Whistler returns to send the two vampires-with-the-souls to Cleveland, Ohio, to assist their one and only love - Buffy Summers, the legendary Vampire Slayer, with what seems like a simple mission. Only when they arrive at headquarters is it clear that the mission is a lot more complicated than they could ever have imagined... Co-written with my dear friend, Elaine (Tennsters from dark-solace.org)
