Her journey takes her to the darkest part of the Adralinth mountains home to a "mythological" beast known as a Chimera. Said to breath fire, have the head of a lion, the body of a goat, with a goats head sticking out of the back of the creature, and to have the tail of a serpents head. This story is about Kiann'a journey and battle of the vicious monster. With the help of a friend of course. But this story has something more... something that is haunting Kiann. I smelt something calming, like the smell of rain and vanilla and suddenly, a guy came in charging at Gabriel. Gabriel didn't have any time to react as he was knocked to the ground. Her twin brother found his a few weeks ago and Reagan's been dying to find her equal. What happens when she find out her mates the cold hearted Alpha that she's been told cruel stories about. And now, as the new queen, it's Hera's job to kill them, and not loose herself or the bright colours of her world in the battle for peace.

The one thing of note was that Dawson was back in his saddle. He refused to stay in the stretcher beyond the first day and said that any discomfort in the saddle would be nothing compared to being bounced along behind a flatulating horse. That had brought a smile to even the captain.
