When a brochure asking for volunteers to revive the island is mailed around, the first people to sign up were the 21 year olds, Zach and Jessie. Of course, they didn't know that the other signed up. They lost contact for a year, only hearing about each other from friends. 
Now they return back after the end to the start of it all.
