Natalia has come a long way from her geeky, loser teenage years, and now her dream to move to Manhattan and become a model and is a reality. While the lifestyle in is far from glamorous, she's finally happy with herself, and what her life has to offer her. Little did she know that reaching her big break and having her face plastered all over Times Square would bring some old friends and enemies back from the past. Including that one guy (yes, the love interest) who's now seeing that little brace faced loser from high school in a whole new, almost haunting light.

What do you call a 26-year-old woman trying to make it as an artist in a world run by deadlines, AI, and luxury branding? Someone who's barely making rent, still hasn't had her first kiss, and has been hopelessly in love with the same boy since she was sixteen? You call her Piper Collins. Once the quiet girl who loved her friend in silence, from airport meet-cutes to high school popularity. He was her person, her safe space... just never hers to keep. Now, ten years later, fate threw them back together. He's no longer just Nick-he's Nicholas Verlice, heir to a business empire and her new client. Their friendship is starting to look a lot like something more. And Piper's only rule? Don't fall for him again. But with every stolen touch and lingering glance... that's getting harder to remember.
