Isabelle McAdams is different from the ordinary seventeen year-old.

She's completely deaf in both ears.

And she hasn't always been that way.

Her life has been full of so many twists and turns, she's lost count of it all.

And worst of all, she has to move across the country, away from the all-deaf high school she was attending to a hearing school just so her single father can keep his well-paying job.

But just when things are looking seriously shitty for Isabelle, she meets someone who makes her life a bit better. Someone she may never want to lose.
