    After two hundred years of ruling Neverland, Peter Pan has decided to search for new adventure. He and the original Lost Boys have embarked for India and the Orient, where a grand expedition awaits. 
    
    In his stead he leaves Desdemona, a Lost Girl whose soul and imagination is anchored in the magic of the land almost as deeply as his own. 
    
    But trouble rises with the horizon. The pirates, Hook's son at the helm, have grown restless. The Indians and Mermaids have produced children of war, who seek to rule the water and cause mischief on land. And an unexpected guest upsets the fragile balance Desdemona is fighting to establish: Priscilla, Michael Darling's granddaughter, who has fallen in love with the Peter Pan of legend and lore. 
      
    Too bad Peter has left Neverland. Too bad that magic has a mind of its own, and too bad that the future - frozen in its tracks - has begun again to advance.
