All Skyla has known is her simple life. That is until her seventeenth birthday, when her parents are brutally murdered by seven malicious vampires known as the Deathstalkers. These seven deadly sins seek Skyla's powers, powers she learns she has on the same night. These evil beings need her powers to survive and will kill anyone to get to her.
Skyla moves to live with her grandparents. Here she meets new friends, and even more important, Alec Stone, a gorgeous guy she is immediately drawn to. But does he like her as much as she likes him?

Skyla's new life heightens when she learns that the Deathstalkers are getting closer, teenagers in town are behaving strange, and a mysterious ghost keeps appearing. In addition, Skyla is changing. Will she survive her new found powers? Will she fulfill her destiny?

Before I knew it my shirt was torn away from my torso and tossed on the floor, Charlie's doing the same. Our kiss intensified and I felt him groan against my lips. I swear to god, this boy is making out with me like his life depends on it!
