Rebekah Griffin enjoys her simple small town life as well as the occasional hunt through the woods and the thrill of ripping into someone's neck.  She's built a comfortable life for herself, integrating into the community just enough as to maintained her secret but not getting too close to anyone. 
    
    Her standoffish behaviour isn't simply to protect her secret; Rebekah's life has not been an easy one. Abandoned by her Maker with no memory of her human life except with an engraved ring and a mark on her wrist; Rebekah's questions outweigh greatly the answers and no way to find them. Between keeping her secret from the Human world and even more from the Vampire world, it isn't hard for one to become a recluse.
