Blue, a 3 month old kitten with a heck of a lot of personality, gets thrown in a shelter, with no mother, no confidence, and no sense of purpose; and she feels like she owes the world a great deal. When her only sister Tabitha gets taken away, and all of the other cats, (especially the mean black tom from the kennel across from her, who happens to be 2 months older, and 4 times meaner), are always bossing her around, and making her feel like a nobody...

Suddenly, her world flips upside-down, when a teenage girl starts coming to the shelter, as well as when a handsome grey tom moves into the same pod as her. Blue finally thinks she might be able to amount to something.

Until danger strikes, the grey tom's in trouble, the girl stops coming to the shelter, and Blue thinks she might never be able to find the true her.
