A girl who goes by the name Kasai wakes up in a hospital in Suna and has no memory as to how she got there.
Kasai has not a single recollection of her mission with Group 7, the whirlwind of vicious snakes that attacked her, or the strange boy who floated on sand. All she remembers is falling asleep in her apartment back in Konoha.
So what exactly happened that night when she was returning home from the forgotten mission? What does it have to do with her old teacher, Orochimaru? And why is the Shinigami inside her obsessed with Gaara and Shukaku?

Shinki's story
Shinki is Gaara's adopted son and was born into a regular family at the outskirt of Suna. As a infant, Shinki is unable to control his blessed power and often wreck damage to his home with his sands flying around, destroying everything it touches. Soon, his parents was victims and got hurt by his sands. Unable to take care of him, Shinki was abandoned at the age of 3. Still unable to control his power, he often hurt innocent people everywhere he go and people feared him. The news soon alarm the Office Building and Gaara went into action. A/N: I haven't seen many stories about Shinki and thought I should write a story about his life based on my imagination (and maybe throw a little Gaara's childhood in there). Shinki is my 2nd most favorite character in the new generation behind his lovely cousin Shikadai so I thought, what better way to show my love to him than writing a story about his life?
