Cordelia desires so much. Yet, only one wish can be granted. Mermaid Princess Cordelia is doomed to live a life in the ocean. Forbidden from land by her father, King Zale. He rules Atlantis with great power, power to destroy anything.
But when she suddenly disappears from his palace in search of a precious sea jewel that will grant her happiness, he searches for her. She falls in love at first sight with a handsome sailor, Atticus, who is unaware she is a mermaid. Cordelia must decide, her life under the ocean or the her happiness of life on land.
Little does she know, the ancient sea jewel will transport her to land in form of a human. The wish lasts only five days and payment is death if true happiness can't take place. And worst of all, she can't undo it...

I won't survive. I'm sure of it. Strong wind ruffles through my clothes and hardly allows my eyes to remain open. I'm surprised that I'm still standing on the rock and haven't been tossed into the whirlwind. Huge waves crash down upon the rocks making deafening sounds. I open my eyes wide enough to see the next wave coming. As it comes towards the rock, it reaches the height of a three-storey building and seems to loom over me for some time, like a monster looking at its prey with hungry eyes, before finally crashing down towards me like a waterfall.
