Karisa was never an average child. She got tormented and beaten on so much that she was made to believe that she deserved it. She thought she was reckless and horrible girl but really she was the sweetest and kindest girl you'd ever meet, and she has a great heart. At first, there's only one person in the world who can look past Karisa's scars and see her for who she really is, even when she doesn't herself. As she learns more and gets a chance to get a taste of the real world though, she learns to trust herself and gets close to other people as well. When she gets a taste of the fact that there can be danger out of the house as well as in though, after all those years of defending herself will she have what it takes to survive?
