"He came out to walk to him truck. A massive black pick up with a V8 engine in it, it was beautiful. It probably stood four feet off the ground. Adam loved it like a child and took the best care of it. It was his pride and joy.
'I swear, you love that truck more than me.'
Adam turned around to face Sam.
'Not true. If I loved her more than you, I wouldn't do this,' he said and he bent down for a kiss.
Suddenly, an explosion ripped through the air. Screams sounded all around the parking lot as people ducked down. Flaming chunks of metal flew everywhere as a second explosion went off. Two cars had exploded and a third soon joined. Then Adam saw them. Planes flew overhead, dropping bombs all around them."
Adam was a normal student, a normal person, until that day. America was attacked and everything went into anarchy. Now, he has to survive against the odds of another country and protect those he cares about most.

BOOK 1 From the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed, there were people who didn't agree with it. This included a small group of politicians who called themselves Chaos. They vowed to someday take over America and start over with a utopian society where everyone would have a common goal. They slowly infiltrated the government, filling it with corrupt leaders. They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops.
