Arabella grew up in a decent life, with a decent family, decent friends, and a decent attitude. Everything about her life was just decent. She didn't strive for much, just wanted a good future. The rest of her life had been okay from the time she was born. But just as what was said, she is a decent girl. 

Her friends and family all had either horrific or amazing or nervous lives, but around Arabella they were just....decent. 

She was 18 now, finishing the last semester of school. She had good grades. They weren't magnificent but they weren't bad either. Besides her friends, no one really talked to her at school. They all knew her but she was just to normal. 

Then she met Blake.

Blake was the complete opposite of her. He lived his life like a king. Everything about him was different and great and almost magical to Arabella. Sadly they lived 18 years without knowing each other.

"That was weird, but I can't stop my heart beating ten times faster than it should be. Laying down on the bed I face away from the bathroom door not wanting him to look at me. I pull the white cover up to my nose and look at the wall. I hear the bathroom door open and footsteps reach closer to the bed. The covers are being moved behind me as Mateo gets ready to sleep. I reach up to turn off the lap on my nightstand, and when I do we're left in the dark abyss of my room. Mateo's arm wraps itself around my waist and pulls me back into his hard chest. He gently lifts my head up and puts it back down onto his bicep. I take in a shaky breath and close my eyes deciding it is best to just sleep. Feeling his breath on the crown of my head, I'm more relaxed than I was before and start feeling sleepier by the second. But before sleep overtakes my mind. I hear Mateo mutter something. "Good night sweetheart." ~~~~~~ Moving on. Growing up. The fears of Mateo and Veronica. Two strangers who have been attending the same high school for the past three years. They believe they are different from each other but they have much more in common than they believe. Senior year things change when Mateo finds an interest in Veronica. Now she's built herself up using her pain as the next step to her strength. She's learnt how to strive forward even as her past haunts her mind crawling up her back every passing second. That is until the first 7 people who only ever brought her pain find their way back into her life. She has no way to let go of her past when they come right back to her. The world showed her no mercy in it's ways so why should she. ~~~ I let out a small sigh wanting more of this. I wanted to be held like this whenever I felt broken. Feel the way he puts me back together in his arms. It ate at my heart and I could have sworn I felt a feathery kiss on my head. It was as if he could hear my thoughts and was kissing them away for me. Slowly he lets one hand go, the other staying around me as he brings my chin up to him gently wiping my last tears as more fill my eyes. He sees this and his eyes look... crumbled. If you feel this way then why can't you choose me, Dominic. I shake my head from his hands wishing to step back but he pulls me back to him a pain filled groan leaving him. "Just one more minute. Please." His body shook and I brought him closer, feeling our pain become one. Our hurricanes of minds pull away even for the smallest time letting us stand together as one in each other's embrace. He was it for me. But I wasn't his.

Hey I'm Ocean, a dreamy girl, who has completed her college studies of fashion designing from a few years back and then stepped into the writing world. Though writing was already a big part of me since my school days, but now it has become a professional practice too. Other than writing and designing, I pretty much like photography and travelling. And the things which I love to do in my free time is dancing, listening to music - hindi classicals, qawwali, ghazal, indie-pop or fusions are my favourite, other than that watching movies/series - Classics, Rom-Com, Action, Thrill, Sci-Fi - ALL! and studying film-making.
