Have you ever belonged to two peoples, but never really belonged to them? Like you're apart of them both but neither chose to accept you? For example, you could hang out with two totally different groups of friends; one upper class and the other at the bottom of the ladder. But with both, you aren't really accepted. You are either too high class for one group of friends or too low for the other?

That is my life.

Being the product of two completely different people, I never truly fit in. They always thought I didn't have anything, that I was nothing special...But they never cared to simply ask.

So when the day comes where we are to give everything we have, I'll let my true colours shine.

Because the whole time...

I was just holding back.
