On their 5th birthday, they're dying. By their 18th birthday, they're dead. In a place known only as the Sanctuary, children of an inferior race known as Ebonies are forced into being test subjects. But they have no idea what they are doing. Their lives are no longer their own, their freedom and rights non-existent in a world where they are believed to be the cause of a fatal virus. For that, they must pay by being drugged, abused, ill-treated and experimented on in order to combat the disease they started and cure the Ivories they unleashed it on. Naomi is an Ebony. But she is also an Ivory. Her curiosity and intelligence have led her to the truth. And she knows she must escape. But how can she escape when she is already dead?

They think the only way to save themselves is to create the next human race with the immune ability to survival. They will be stronger, tougher , the next generation formed to perfection. But will it really be that easy ? *** Andrea Hughes was left to fend for herself at the age of 18 when both of her parents died due to the plague . She's been on the run for almost a year , trying to escape the claws of the government, in need of carriers . She never quite got her head around why they needed her if the male population was going extinct but nevertheless didn't want to find out .
